The S’more Alternative

My daughter, Elise, is obsessed with s’mores. The obsession started in preschool during camp out week and it just happened that I ran across a blog post that same week with a different twist on s’mores. I am sure many of you have made these over a campfire, but you can bring it indoors as well!
Banana Boats
Ingreditents:
1 banana, unpeeled
Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mini marshmallows
Brown sugar
Tin foil
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. Slit the banana length wise, while leaving the skin on.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar into the banana.
  4. Stuff in chocolate chips & top with marshmallows.
  5. Wrap banana in foil and make sure you close the ends.
  6. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the marshmallows & chocolate are melted.
  7. Make sure you have a lot of napkins ready and enjoy!
