Farmer’s Markets typically run May through October in Michigan. They are a fun way to show your children healthy eating and support local agriculture and business. Ask vendors to tell your child about the food they grow or the products they make. Often times, they’ll even offer a sample.
They are so many in the Detroit-area, you’re likely to find one near you. And if you’re near Beaumont’s Royal Oak campus on Thursdays, stop by the South Tower entrance. Ours begins this Thursday!
